Snowblack is taken outside for 80 minutes daily, forty in the morning and forty in the late afternoon. However, this is sometimes not possible due to rain or smog.
In the Garden, Snowblack typically runs around, and, towards the end of the outdoor session, relaxes. He can also be found digging small holes in the dirt, much like what bunnies do in real life!
Many of the fresh greens mentioned on the 'Diet' page are grown right in the home garden. This means that Snowblack often gets to nibble lettuce leaves and carrots tops when he is outside!
In the open areas of the garden, Snowblack usually runs around nibbles on the grass. In these wide areas, Snowblack sometimes does a binky, which is a playful jump-and-twist in the air.
In the fenced areas, which contain beds and soil for flowers, Snowblack often digs little holes in shaded areas, acting as a small burrow for him. Like mentioned towards the end of his outside sessions, he often sits and relaxes in the sunlight.
The garden area, and especially the shaded dirt area (pictures can be seen above) is a very natural place to call home for most wild bunnies. Thus, the area resembles home for Snowblack, especially considering the natural birdsong and plant life in the area.
Despite the fact that Snowblack often sits down towards the end of his outdoor time, garden sessions like the ones he experiences daily gives a rabbit the exercise that he/she needs, particularly considering the cramped nature of most indoor rooms and cages.
Like with all animals, Vitamin D, which comes mainly from the Sun and fish, is key for normal bodily functions. Outdoor time, in the Sun, gives Snowblack the daily requirements of non food-based Vitamin D that he might not otherwise receive when he is stuck inside all day.
The change of scenery from a cold, dark and cramped room to a warm, sunny and wide garden prevents boredom and monotony that is detrimental to a rabbit like Snowblack's wellbeing. It is also proven that bunnies prefer new areas, smells and sights to explore.
Like mentioned, Snowblack naturally digs little holes and burrows in the fenced areas of the garden. An example of this can be seen in the photo beside.
As it is shaded in these areas, Snowblack usually sits down and relaxes, especially on hot days in the summer.
